Off-Series: Capu Mattu's free expression

At Capu Mattu, not all pieces are born into a classic collection. Some ideas emerge differently, more spontaneously, more instinctively. It is from this freedom that the concept of the Off-Series was born.
Off-Series are independent releases, conceived outside the traditional collection calendar. They allow us to explore a visual, an idea, a specific inspiration, without the constraint of a global theme or imposed narrative continuity. It is a field of experimentation, both creative and controlled.
A monthly meeting, with no fixed rules
Each month, an Off-Series is offered. It can take different forms depending on the inspiration of the moment.
An Off-Series can feature a single strong visual, or two or even three distinct visuals, each available on several pieces.
Generally, an Off-Series consists of a maximum of 4 to 6 pieces. This can be:
a unique t-shirt or two variations,
a sweatshirt,
a jacket,
sometimes trousers or a more unexpected piece.
There is no imposed formula. The content evolves according to the creative intention, available materials and the energy of the moment.
Pieces outside the collection, but not outside the identity
Even if they are outside the main collections, the Off-Series remain faithful to the Capu Mattu DNA. We find our usual requirements: choice of textiles, quality of prints, careful finishes and attention to detail.
The difference lies in the approach. The Off-Series are more direct, more instinctive. They can echo current events, a strong image, a symbol, or simply a creative desire that does not wait for the next collection to exist.
They will be identified by Off-Series and the current year 26 followed by a dot and the series number... for example for the January series 26.1 for the first series of January 2026.
Another way to tell the story of Capu Mattu
The Off-Series are a breath of fresh air in our creative rhythm. They allow us to offer something else, differently, while remaining consistent with our universe.
Each Off-Series is a parenthesis. A variation.
